The GEIPAN

Since the dawn of time, the PAN, UFOs, GEIPAN, events, men look forward even with horror, the observable phenomena of all kinds in the sky. And since the dawn of time, the manifestations of the sky are subject to the most diverse interpretations, based on the belief that superior beings or divine powers. For example, in Greek mythology, natural phenomena such as wind, storm, lightning were caused by gods who manifested their approval or anger vis-à-vis the actions of mortals.
Through his research and his discoveries, the man could demystify many of these phenomena and deepen the knowledge of its environment. But the appearance in the twentieth century, new techniques, new ways of exploration, and therefore, new engines moving in space, has raised new questions.
Answer the questions and expectations of the population to unidentified aerospace phenomena (PAN), and is one of the tasks entrusted to GEIPAN
(GEIPAN stands for Groupe d'Études et d'Informations sur les Phénomènes Aérospatiaux Non-identifiés - Unidentified Aerospace Phenomenon Research and Information Group).
